I have wanted to come here for ages. I moved to Guildford about a year ago. Savoury pancakes are my favourite and so hard to find. This was one of the best pancakes I have ever had. My son ordered a hot chocolate and also said it was the best ever. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Very reasonably priced and so nice to eat and drink somewhere that felt so genuine and warm - hard to find these days! Thank you! (I also never leave reviews for places - but I felt they totally deserved one!)
What a fant-ICE-tic experience! Popped into Fresco Delikafessen today while visiting the city, and what an amazing experience I had. Nick went absolutely above and beyond, and was very helpful with me choosing an iced coffee, as they had a really huge selection. As it was my first time here, he also offered me a selection of lovely pastries, and they were on the house, which absolutely made my day, and were absolutely delicious! Me and the wife came in today; amazing food and the server was lovely. Wished us a happy Eid; definitely made our day. Food and coffee is highly recommended
This is the only cafe I go to during the week. It’s not too far from my office but if it was closer, I would be getting coffee in the afternoon too. Staff work so hard here and I really love the food. Traditional pastries, savoury and sweet but also fresh paninis if I don’t fancy a pastry. I put a 4 star for food, not because of quality, but because I think salads would be a nice addition to the menu. No where in Guildford does it so it could be a big win! Wouldn’t even have to be hugely gourmet ones. And maybe smaller pieces of bougatsa as an option too next to large portions like the kataifi but that’s a minor thing. Thank you for all the nice convos while waiting for food and making everyone feel so welcome. If the food wasn’t so good I might’ve had time to take more photos. Friendly and super helpful staff, I'm so impressed. Coffee was nice, I ordered cold Americano which is pretty great. And had one of the Greek snack "Kataifi", overall was alright but got so many hard shell nut which hard like a rock so.. not gonna order that again but gonna go back for another menu for sure.
A delightful independent coffee shop with charm. As well as serving up great coffees, this place had a fantastic selection of Greek sweet and savoury foods, all locally produced and super tasty. The guys behind the counter were welcoming and took the time to explain the different food available. An authentic coffee shop with bags of character. Well worth a visit if you are wondering through Guildford
One of the best cafe. Such a great service. I been given full info about what sort of cold cafe they do, how they do etc. On the top I have tasted some traditional Greek pastries. Yummy. Truly recommend this place. The service make it most and the cafe...top. Just to add - popped in 05.11... disappointed
A lovely, hellenic (Greek) cafe in the heart of Guildford! Dimitris and Nikos are so friendly, kind and treat you like their friend! I ordered a fresco espresso, which is actually what is called FREDDO ESPRESSO, in Hellas (Greece). Tasteful! They also offered me two pieces of greek bougatsa In store, you can find many traditional products like "petit four", "bougatsa", cakes, etc, but also ice cream for dogs! Totally recommend it! Have fun x
